Eid festivities and cultural extravaganza organized by UAE’s Sindhi Association – M Haris

DUBAI (UAE): The Sindhi Association of UAE organized an Eid gathering and music program in Dubai. Hafiz Abdul Sami Kerio commenced the program by reciting verses from the Holy Quran. Naeem Chana performed a welcome dance to a popular Sindhi national song.
Abdul Razzaq Sial, the Deputy Convener of the Sindhi Association of UAE, welcomed all the guests. Danish Haidari, the Convener of the Sindhi Association of UAE, delivered the presidential speech.
He announced that the association has provided one scholarship to a hardworking and needy student at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, and Chandka Medical College, Larkana. Honest and conscientious professors from the respective institutions will be contacted for the selection process.
The event was graced by the presence of Imran Shahid, from the Consulate General of Pakistan Dubai, Dubai businessman Yaqoob Al Ali, Dubai Police Officer, RTA Officer Ali Meezan, Major Umar Zubair, Pakistan People’s Party leader Mian Munir Hans, Ahmad Saleh, Power of Sharjah Sheikha Anas Al-Ndwai, Dr. Aleena, famous Sindhi tik toker Arif Shikarpuri, Abdul Razzaq Nohani, Aslam Leghari, Niaz Ahmed Khoso, Abdullah Syal, and other guests. All the guests were presented with honor shields.
Imran Shahid, Welfare Attache at the Consulate General of Pakistan Dubai, expressed his happiness at witnessing the Sindhi fair in Dubai. He prioritized attending the event to celebrate Eid with the community and commended the Sindhi Association of UAE for organizing such a festival abroad.
The program featured a music festival where the guest artist from Sindh, Barkat Gopang, sang Sindhi songs, creating a musical atmosphere. The Saaz band and Dervish band together performed Sindhi and Urdu songs, enthralling the attending families.
Members of the Sindhi Association of UAE, including CC Member Javed Ahmed Sial, Razzak Sial, Fahad Thibo, Azam Raj, Aamir Chandio, Fahim Solangi, Mehran Cholyani, Ramesh Kolhi, Khalid Jagirani, Abdul Wahab Mehr, Thawab Memon, Akhtar Brohi, Ayaz Brohi, Nazir Ahmad Mughiri, and others, participated in the event.
The Ladies Wing of the Sindhi Association of UAE was represented by Barkha Kolhi, Javed Syal, Aram Razzaq, Muskan Fahad, Amir Chandio, Dua Thibu, Anam Ali, Saima Abbasi, Qartalain, and Paras Faisal. Samad Mangi, Asghar Katiyan, Saqib Shaikh, Abdul Sami Memon, and others attended the event with their families, making it a memorable occasion for the Sindhi community in the UAE.
