Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday extended his congratulations to Sir Keir Starmer on the Labour Party’s resounding victory in the United Kingdom’s general elections.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the prime minister expressed his eagerness to collaborate with the newly elected UK government.

“Looking forward to working closely with the new UK government, under Sir Starmer’s wise and able leadership, to further strengthen and broaden the Pakistan-UK partnership,” Shehbaz Sharif stated.

President Zardari expressed the hope that Starmer would play his role in addressing the shared challenges faced by the world.
